    for a keynote address by The Honourable Erin O'Toole, PC, CD:

    The Health of Democracy: The Role of Active Citizenship

     

    Drawing on his experience as a Member of Parliament, Former Leader of the Opposition, and business leader, O'Toole will explore the importance of active citizenship in a healthy democracy by examining civic engagement, principled leadership, and the role Canadians play in shaping the country's future. Mr. O'Toole also lectures in Huron’s Department of Governance, Leadership and Ethics (GLE) and contributes to Huron's co-curricular Nation Builder Program.

     

    A fireside chat will follow the keynote, moderated by Dr. Barry Craig, President and Vice-Chancellor of Huron.

     A reception will follow in the Medline Student Commons, offering all attendees an opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and build new relationships
