Huron offers an indoor, secured bicycle storage room for Huron students, faculty and staff to apply for.  The room is located on the exterior of Burnlea Hall under the pedestrian walkway through the building. The room has space for 7 bicycles on the rack and is a shared space with Burnlea Hall students for hockey bag storage.

Sales will be made to enrolled Huron Students, Huron Faculty & Huron Staff only.

Only 7 permits will be issued at a time to ensure a guarenteed spot on the rack. 

A red plastic tag with unique number linked to your application will be placed on your bike by Huron Facilities in a location that is safe and can't be removed.  This will aid in distinguishing approved bikes in the room. 

Removal of the bike tag is not permitted.

Bike tag holders in violation of the below terms and conditions will have their tag revoked and access removed.

Unauthorized bikes on the rack will be removed and confiscated.

Terms & Conditions:

1. I acknowledge and agree that the bike tag and access to the storage room must be utilized only by the assigned permit holder. Any misuse of the bike tag, including but not limited to using it to allow others not listed under this permit to store their bicycle, letting unregistered people into the storage room, handling other people's property, removing other people's property out of the room or leaving other items in the room, are all a violation of this agreement and may incur fines and have bicycle storage privileges revoked indefinitely.
2. I agree to remove my bicycle and lock from the assigned rack in the room and return an assigned access fob (if applicable) to Huron Security prior to the end of your permit duration.  Failure to remove your bicycle or lock could result in the lock being cut away from the rack and bicycle seized.
3. Forgery, Fraud, and possession of lost or stolen property are criminal offences. Any person found in possession of a permit recorded as lost or stolen will be fined and have bicycle storage privileges revoked indefinitely.  Bicycles parked using permits listed as lost or stolen will be removed, and owners will be liable for all charges.  Criminal charges may be laid in either/both circumstances.
4. The Huron University College Bicycle Storage Room is monitored by door access and security cameras.  Any suspect activities in the room will be investigated.  If you identified tampering or misuse of the room please immediately contact Huron Security to investigate.
5. Huron University College assumes no responsibility for damage or loss to bicycles or contents, however caused, while parked on Huron property
   Huron University College is not responsible if permit holders lose or damage their access fob.  Fees apply for replacement fobs or if it is determined to be damaged caused by the bike tag holder.
6. Bike tags sales will be made online via credit card.

E-Bikes can be stored on campus ONLY if they have ULC rated battery and no hydrogen powered bikes permitted at this time.

Spot checks for compliance are done by Huron Facilities & Western Fire Safety.

Please note that paying by credit card will incur an additional credit card fee, which is displayed on a separate line at the bottom of this section.
